Life has strange ways of altering our preferred paths. From great thinkers to celebrities, things as small as the flap of a butterfly wing have transpired into great transformations, virtually changing lives for the best. This is what gives hope to countless people everywhere to try their hand at also touching success. Social media influencer and internet celebrity Kennedy Pinheiro Bezerra would undoubtedly attest to the prevalence of fateful shifts in one’s life.
Born to a single mother and brought up against the expansive backdrop of Brazil, Kennedy learned quite early on the importance of effective communication and original skill. He knew that there were scarce opportunities in his hometown and that a new room would have to be curated if something substantial was to be done. With grand aspirations and little scope for practice, Kennedy eventually grew dejected and felt uninspired.
In 2018, Kennedy moved to Canada when he felt suffocated by the limitedness of his life in Brazil. However, things only looked breezy in the imagination, and he soon realized that he would have to work twice as hard to be able to bag a job that was half the value of his pay grade. He eventually saw the subtle prejudice immigrants experienced in the nation and felt hopeless. So when he did ultimately secure a well-paying position in Vancouver, he believed things would begin to turn around. However, destiny had other ideas for Kennedy.
Over time, Kennedy realized that Vancouver was not perhaps the best fit for him – fiscally, emotionally, and otherwise. At this point, he decided to re-evaluate his decisions and reflect on his choices. He remembers being dismayed by the life he was living for a myriad of reasons, and says, “I realized that working 9-5 is not something that I enjoy and not being that flexible was a pain point for me.” This was when he decided to launch into the content creation sphere with his long-standing passion for lifestyle niches.
Today, Kennedy has over 70K followers on Instagram and an additional 41K followers on TikTok with over 300K likes. His content spans multiple niches, including lifestyle and fashion. He has also collaborated with big brands like Hudson Bay, Nordstrom, Disney, Bailey Nelson, Indochino, and others. In the future, he hopes to expand into newer realms and find a unique mix of various niches to bring new and original content to his followers.
In addition, he is also working on producing a podcast with his Brazilian friends specifically for the Brazilian audience to shed light on his heritage and represent what he considers to be truly his identity.
