Brilliant’s journey is filled with numerous tough instances. Brilliant grew up with a single mother. When he was 6 or 7, his parents split. However, in terms of money, everything was OK. They were not well-off, but they were content. Years later, his mother divorced for the second time, and things began to deteriorate much worse. They were on the verge of going bankrupt and had to sell their home.
Brilliant was obliged to work five jobs at the time. He was well compensated, yet he was unhappy. This was the first time he met his first mentor. And he radically transformed Brilliant’s perspective on life. His mentor also encouraged him to use leadership skills in both his personal and professional life.
And that, in a nutshell, is how Brilliant came up with the idea for House of Leaders.
What began as a personal blog allowing him to express his daily catharsis, leadership thoughts, and life events evolved into a community of aspiring leaders.
