Travel Writer & Food Critic Rafael “Brunchxgod” Peña Has a TV Series in the Works

Talented creative Rafael Peña believes in following the heart and feeding his various passions in all walks of life. An artist at heart, he’s keen on keeping his passions alive by actively participating in one creative venture after another. Rafael spreads his wings in industries that speak to  the artist in him. Whether it’s writing about his one of a kind food experiences around the world, producing events for young savvy professionals, or committing to a life of  travel – Rafael continuously puts his creativity to test.

“Traveling to places and experiencing different lifestyles helps you look beyond your own life and expand your horizons,” Rafael says.

Rafael firmly believes forcing yourself to do things is one of the many ways to be counterproductive in achieving success. This realization has become a life law, and Rafael thrives in only doing projects and ventures that he is connected to. Currently, he has a TV series in the pilot stage under his Levels Creative brand in collaboration with Hndrx Visuals.

“When I experience all of these wonderful unique cities, what bonds people from all walks of life is good food. My show will give viewers the experiences I’ve had on my travels as a man of color,” says Peña, when asked about the premise of the show.

“It’s a modern take on Anthony Bourdain’s well-received “Parts Unknown, that shines a light on the food made and created by people of color all around the world,” Peña states. He continues, “I believe more people in my community could see the similarities of us on a global scale and it would encourage more people of my community to see the world.”

Although Rafael keeps tight-lipped on further details of the project, his accomplishments in the entertainment industry speak volumes to what is expected to come from him.   He has multiple branches under his Levels Management umbrella, all working in tandem  using his vast marketing experience and networks. He has worked hard to build credibility for his brand in a highly competitive entertainment scene and will continue to whenever an opportunity arises. The untitled food series will air on streaming services and YouTube TV in 2023.
