Sameer Sawaqed Shares His Experience of Building through the Failures

“Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm” — Winston Churchill

Failure is an essential part of our lives. It not only helps us find our purpose but also helps us find ourselves through trial and error.

Perhaps failure is the key to finding who we are. And thus it is essential that we welcome failure in our lives, and take our time to study how and why we fail. Only then can we truly learn the ways of becoming successful through exploring our mistakes!

A sophisticated understanding of failure’s causes and contexts helps channelize an effective strategy for learning from failure.

Failure is an essential step one goes through to learn the trade of life. It is natural in the essence of being human. We fail in everything we do, from the very first step we take — we are destined to take the wrong measures. Unless and until we learn the right ones by failing as Mick Rooney, the comedian(not the businessman) once said.

Sameer Sawaqed, a successful podcaster, social media influencer, and tech expert who inspires thousands from Generation Z shares how his success journey has been a roller coaster of failures and success.

Just to give you a perspective, Sameer has gotten his podcast to a top 10% ranking, has lost a humongous 100 pounds, created some of the biggest clubs on clubhouse, and has been advancing in his corporate career as well while creating success in his brand.

But he has had his fair share of failures too!

One of his biggest failures was losing the majority of his stock investments in March last year due to the ongoing pandemic. Though Sameer takes his loss as a blessing in disguise. He believes it taught him so much about emotion, investing, gambling, and discipline. He was also able to overcome his fear of failure and motivate himself to take small steps every day that eventually benefited him in some way or the other.

Also, in a world that’s obsessed with a perfect body and often has unrealistic beauty standards, Sameer struggled with being obese while growing up.

This not only affected his self-esteem and confidence but also instilled in him the anxiety and fear of being average. But being the courageous person he is, Sameer eventually decided to face all his fears and put in efforts to give both his body and career the best of himself.

All of us have heard at some point of our life that, “You always pass failure on your way to success.”

And Sameer, with all the ups and down of his journey, is a shining example of it!
