John Walsh: A Life In Music

From dancing on tunes as a child to making his own music, John Walsh has been through it all. For him, music was more than just the perfect sound. It was a message, a way to soothe the soul, and most importantly, it was the type of art that would stick together no matter what.

As a child, music was John’s best friend. The kind of friend he would go to whenever he wanted to dance off his happiness or seek comfort into. John’s morning routine included him humming to his favorite tunes and lyrics while on his ride to school after which he would look forward to the day to end so that he could finally reunite with his music. Whenever he felt worried about anything, all he needed to do was push in some good music and quietly listen. As a result, this activity would help him clear his mind off multiple things and help change his perspective. Thus, all John needed to get through a bad was his music. 

Once John was old enough to understand the career in the music industry, he began researching every corner of it. He started by playing along with different records to discover his potential. As a result, he would play along with different genres and artists that were not on the chart. This expanded his experience and he got the gist of different types of music. With time, John started crafting his own ideas into music. He practiced and practiced till he finally felt he got the hang of it. As he began performing for friends and family, John was overwhelmed by the response he received. Thus, as this further built up his confidence, he started utilizing every external opportunity he got. Whether it was playing at a small event or approaching producers, John made sure to make the best out of it.

John says, “If you don’t enjoy your art, then how can you make others love it?” 

Today, as an inspiring musician, John believes that it was his passion along with his efforts that brought him up to the stage where he was able to make his own music. While he has lived a passionate life in music, he wishes for other rising musicians to feel the same.
