An Insight into the Life of the Founder of InsMark® and a Versatile Entrepreneur, Robert Ritter

InsMark is a financial software company. It’s one of the leading ventures that took the world by storm at its very inception in the early 1980s and continues to dominate. Even today, it is helping more than 30,000 producers successfully carry out their business. But InsMark wasn’t created overnight. Robert Ritter spent years before laying the company’s cornerstone that changed the insurance world.

Robert was 26 years old when he was promoted to General Agent while working at MassMutual Life Insurance. He became the youngest ever to experience that promotion. Achiever and dreamer at the core, he didn’t stop anywhere in his career. After four years, MassMutual appointed him General Agent of a prominent New York City agency, where he developed sales leaders and won the company’s National Manpower Award for it.

He had always been a creative person. There cannot be any more perfect example of his creativity than InsMark itself. The company was developed because Robert wasn’t a fan of insurance company presentations. He felt producers lose many clients because of the poor reception of the financial data. InsMark’s illustration modules considerably enhanced the presentation of insurance.

All his life, he has followed his instincts. He had a passion for music, so he became a part of a Dixieland band in his college days and subsequently took it to the next level along with his co-artists. His role was playing the lead cornet. Along with playing at the historic Carnegie Hall, the group appeared on the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout Show (CBS) and The Tonight Show (NBC).  They were also invited to play at the wedding of Princess Grace in Monaco.

Robert has been frequently seen speaking at major industry platforms, including the International Forum, Top of the Table, and Million Dollar Roundtable. Apart from speaking at the world’s great cities (London, Paris, Rome, Sydney, Honk Kong, Istanbul), he also has the honor of speaking at the convention of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), the global leadership community of more than 30,000 chief executives in 142 countries.

Robert married the girl of his dreams, Laurel. Another love that he shares is horses. This financial maestro loves to see his horses perform at different 3 Day Event shows across the country. Laurel, his wife, shoulders the responsibility of breeding these talented animals.

Robert is also a frequent blog writer. He shares his blogs on this website:
